Middle School Related Arts Forms
Please remember to complete the middle school related arts elective form with your child and return it to me no later than June 4th.  I have several kids who have not returned these.  Children who do not make related arts selections, they will be placed according to what the middle school chooses for them.

No School tomorrow ~ Election Day

Middle School Registration
Registration packets are now available for pick up at North Oldham Middle.  Please stop by and pick up a packet soon so your child will be registered for the fall.

Here’s what’s coming up this week!

ELA:  Our focus this week will be on responding to our reading and on researching possible careers the kids might enjoy when they grow up.  Please email me if you would be interested in coming in during the last week of school to talk to the kids for about 10-15 minutes about what you do for a living.  I’d like to have several parents come in that last week of school to speak about their careers and the kids love to hear from parents about their jobs!

Writing:  This week the kids will use the information gathered from career research to write an article about a career of their choice.

Math:  We will review concepts previously learned this year such as computation with decimals and fractions.

Social Studies:  During social studies, we will be creating timelines of the U.S. history, practicing our states, and learning about ways in which humans modify the environment to meet their needs.
