Week of May 4-8

And our newest Leader of the Week is...

Margaret!!!

Margaret is such a kind and thoughtful young lady!  She goes out of her way to be polite, kind, and helpful to everyone.  She knows how to "synergize" and how to "think win-win" by working well with her peers and she making others feel good about themselves.  She always "puts first things first" by making a conscious effort to complete all assignments given in class and at home.  Margaret is also a good listener who "seeks first to understand, then to be understood."  Keep it up, Margaret!  You are a great leader!

Good afternoon, parents and happy Derby weekend!!  We’ve had another busy and fun week learning about Kentucky, geometry, synonyms, antonyms, and events of the 20th century!  I will update our blog with some pictures from our HELP Project this week where the kids were able to make bracelets for students who purchased them in support of Relay for Life.

NOMS/5th Grade Picnic
This coming Wednesday, May 6th, is our NOMS visit and our 5th Grade Picnic.  Please remember that the picnic will be at North Highs practice football field (behind the stadium).  Lots of volunteers are needed!  Contact Julie Fadel to sign up!

HELP Project
This coming week, we will finish up with our remaining bracelets and assist the kindergarten classes in making their magnets.
